Arjun Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19, isolates himself at home

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19. He informed the same through his Instagram account. Arjun said that he is feeling okay and is asymptomatic. He also added that he is under home quarantine on the advice of his doctors.

Arjun ended his note positively, by stating that he has faith in humanity that we could overcome the deadly virus. The 'Ishaqzaade' actor also promised that he would keep on updating his fans about his health on a regular basis.

Kapoor started, "It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I'm feeling ok and I'm asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come."

"These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus. Much love, Arjun," he shared alongside a praying hand emoji.

Arjun Kapoor was awaiting the release of his film 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' opposite his 'Ishaqzaade' and 'Namastey England' co-star Parineeti Chopra. The duo had started promoting their movie together, but the lockdown was imposed and theatres were shut the week the YRF film was going to release.

Apart from 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', Arjun Kapoor has also bagged 'Bhoot Police' opposite Saif Ali Khan. The movie was originally announced with Saif, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. While Arjun and Saif play the new male leads, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez have been roped in as the female leads.
