If you missed out on BarkBox’s surprise 4/20 toys, you’re not alone. Since the surprise announcement for the 4/20 themed toys in April, they sold out in 24 hours, with resales of the three special-edition toys going for as high as $200.

Thankfully, there’s good news: the toys will be back in stock today, Tuesday 9/8 — and there’s an easier (and pretty cheeky) way to get them this time. You can text “Farmer Jared” at 417-420-BARK to get your “farm fresh” toys on the fly.

When you text Jared, you'll have to first prove you’re not the feds before being directed to either add the toys to your BarkBox if you’re an active subscriber (and if you’re not, here’s a few hundred words to convince you why it’s the best thing you can do for your pup), or sign up for a new subscription with the weed toys. Unfortch, you can't buy them individually without a subscription, but the year-long subscription is worth its weight in cuteness alone, promise — and I'm not a paid BarkBox plant, I just truly stan them.

New subscribers to both BarkBox and SuperChewer (aka BarkBox for dogs that do not do fluff) can pick one of the weed toys for free with sign up.
As for more deets on Farmer Jared: word is that he’s a veggie farmer who’s “being really nice to BARK by letting folks source spinach burritos from him directly.” Sounds legit! You can grab the highly coveted spinach burrito (aka a joint), oregano (nugs), and watering can (hi, it’s a bong) toys online as well.
