Event Highlights Sushant Singh Rajput Case LIVE Updates: Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday in connection with a drug-related case pertaining to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, made some serious disclosures in her 20-page statement to the federal agency. According to Rhea's confessions, made in her statement under Section 67, NDPS Act, a number of Bollywood celebrities at some point allegedly consumed drugs with Sushant Singh Rajput, NCB sources indicated to CNN-News18.

Rhea reportedly claimed that Sushant's farmhouse in Lonavla was used by his friends in Bollywood to indulge in drug-fueled parties. She, however, denied having been a part of them. She reportedly named two powerful and famous male actors and a few other working actors who gave them these contrabands. Rhea also named a filmmaker who allegedly introduced and took Sushant to parties where cocaine and LSD were consumed with curated Marijuana. She claimed that Sushant had told her about this during the time she was dating him.

The Bharatiya Janata Party's Telangana unit has demanded a thorough probe into the drug nexus of Tollywood in the wake of reports that a Tollywood actress figures in the list of actors allegedly named by Rhea Chakraborty during interrogation by the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB).

BJP spokesman K. Krishna Saga Rao urged Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to initiate serious investigation into the drug menace in Hyderabad.

"Ironically, the Tollywood actress in question Rakul Preet Singh has been a Telangana brand ambassador, and has been preaching against drug abuse, through state government sponsored publicity programs. Such is the state of affairs and duplicity of these self-proclaimed youth icons and role models," he said.

Three major agencies have unearthed huge evidence to prove in court that actor Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered and there is conspiracy involved, claims Subramanian Swamy, referring to findings so far of the CBI, Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The BJP Rajya Sabha MP took to his verified Twitter account on Saturday to make this claim in two separate tweets.

"SSR bhaktas ask when SSR case will reach prosecution. I can't say but: AIIMS team could'nt make independent probe since no body. So relied on Hospital records & said 'murder not ruled out but CBI can decide on circumstantial evidence'. So CBI,ED,NCB at it with vigour."

"Now the Trimurti agencies have unearthed huge evidence by which I am confident CBI will find it easy to prove in Court that it was indeed murder by conspiracy. Not only justice will be done but SSR will be vindicated by the clean up that follows in Bollywood," he further wrote.

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, has initiated a campaign to feed the poor and homeless in memory of her late brother. The campaign will continue from 9am to 9pm on Saturday.

"Let's try to do our bit by feeding a homeless or a poor today. And while we are at it, let's close your eyes and pray. Pray that truth surfaces as soon as possible and God guide us in the right direction. Let's keep praying and doing good for our beloved Sushant #FeedFood4SSR," Shweta tweeted from her unverified account.

Those who are willing to participate in the campaign have to distribute food to the needy and stray animals, and share photographs on social media using the hashtag #FeedFood4SSR, and tag his family members. Sushant's family friend Nilotpal Mrinal is also supporting the cause. Netizens and fans of Sushant have joined the campaign all across the globe.

SSR was developing mobile app to help the poor: Entrepreneur-singer Arian Romal

Sushant Singh Rajput was developing a mobile app based on artificial intelligence, and Denmark-based singer-entrepreneur Arian Romal has shared information with us on the matter. Romal told IANS that Sushant planned to use artificial intelligence, or AI, to help the poor in India. "The last time I met Sushant, it was a year ago at a party in Mumbai around March or April. At that time, we had a conversation around technology. He spoke of developing a mobile application. By 2020, there must be something he had built. Where is it? He was build something using AI that would help the poor in India. He spoke about it but didn't reveal much to me because it was his idea and it might get stolen. But he spoke to me about the concept. His aim was to help the poor with his app," Romal said.

NCB detains alleged drug peddler Karanjit

A man named Karanjit, who allegedly used to supply drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda and Showik Chakraborty, has been detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He is being questioned by the agency right now.

Rhea Didn't Inform Family About SSR's Drug Consumption As She Herself Enjoyed It: Ankita Lokhande

Actor Ankita Lokhande on Wednesday said that she never claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput was "murdered" but wanted "justice" for her "late friend" and his family. Rajput, 34, was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June. His death has sparked a lot of controversy in the media. Ankita said that on one hand, Rhea Chakraborty, accused of abetting the suicide of Sushant, was coordinating with his doctors regarding his health issues, but on the other hand, she was "coordinating drug logistics for him".

I again clarify, for the reason time and again being asked by the media to me on whether I feel it's a murder or suicide? I have never said it's a murder or anyone in particular is responsible. I always have encouraged justice for my late friend SSR and stood by the bereaved family and truth should be brought out by the investigating agencies. Being a Maharashtrian and an Indian citizen, I have total faith in the Maharashtra State Govt/Police & Central Government instrumentalities. Dear Haters! Let us assume you must have known in and out about your friend and whats going on in her life and relationship. Glad to see you wake up finally, but I wish you would have woken up sooner and advised your friend not to support any kind of drug abuse by SSR if any. When she very well knew about his mental state by publicly stating that he was in depression. Should she have allowed a depressed man to consume drugs? How is that going to help? His condition would deteriorate to a level that would make a man take the action that SSR has allegedly taken. She was the closest person to him at that time. On one hand, she says she was coordinating with all the doctors for his betterment of health on request of SSR, and on the other hand, she was coordinating drug logistics for him. Would anyone, who claims to have loved someone so deeply, allow the other person to consume drugs claiming to know his mental state and condition? Would you do that? I don't think anyone would. So how can it not be seen as an act of carelessness and irresponsibility? As per her, she informed his family about his ongoing treatment but did she ever inform them about his drug consumption? I am sure she didn't because maybe she, herself, enjoyed consuming it. And this is why I feel it's Karma/Fate. Little advice for the unknown."You guard your friend and I am standing by the family". Sushant's farmhouse used for drug parties, Rhea to NCB

In a 20-page statement to the anti-Narcotics agency, Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly made sensational admissions. According to sources, it is indicated that Rhea revealed that Sushant hosted parties at his farmhouse where celebrity friends regularly consumed drugs.  Rhea has also alleged that some actors even used other prohibited substance like LSD and cocaine at these parties. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is now looking to probe all Bollywood A-listers that have been named by Rhea.

Narcotics Control Bureau had asked Rhea Chakraborty whether the property that Sushant Singh Rajput had in Lonavla was used for drug parties. The actress reportedly admitted to that. She apparently said that some actors provided contrabands at these parties, admitting to the fact that drugs were consumed at these gatherings. "Cocaine, LSD, curated marijuana were consumed at these parties," Rhea reportedly told NCB.

The NCB is probing the drug angle in this case under criminal sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) shared with it a report following the cloning of two mobile phones of Rhea. Various angles surrounding the death of the Rajput are being probed by three federal agencies, the NCB, the ED, and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Rajput was found dead at his Bandra flat on June 14.

Besides Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh, fashion designer Simone Khambhatta's name also came up during the investigation, reports Times Now, which states that these names have been given by Rhea Chakraborty in her interrogation by the NCB that went for three days. Times Now also accessed Rhea Chakraborty's call detail record (CDR) which showed that she was in touch with Rakul Preet and Simone.

Mumbai sessions court on Friday rejected the bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty, along with her brother Showik and four others. Their bail applications were rejected by judge G B Gurao of the special court hearing cases filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande had opposed their bail, saying that Rhea and Showik financed and arranged drugs.
